Spalted Aspen Inlaid with Turquoise By Artist: Jimmy Cook 9 1/2" h x 7 1/2" w I located this downed tree in Spring Creek in the LaPlata Mountains of the San Juan Range of Southern Colorado. In order to save this beautiful piece of wood, the snake was created to fill a large crack. The inlay is turquoise and coral and the black is magnetite from the desert sands of Arizona.
